Thank you for the quick response! Your video helped me a lot! I own a small farm with Scottish Highlands. We keep all heads and end caps. I now have one sanded almost to the shine, cut the bottom and hopefully by sanding I will get it to stand by itself. Seems I need a weight on bottom inside or glue to something. It hopefully will be displayed for holding bracelets, which I also make. I'll figure it out before my first show in August. Now pricing, any idea how I can figure that? On line price is all over the place. Can't really go by materials cost plus a percentage.these are going to be my high end seller. Sorry, I'm just babbling my thoughts. Thanks again for a great video,!

Hi Charles, thanks for the video. What type of spiral blade are you using and how much tension do you put on the blade when mounted. I use Olsen blades but I get wiggly lines when I cut. The blade has a hard time to follow a straight line compared to my one sided blades. I'm thinking that I'm not tensionning the blade properly?

I was wondering if you could help me? I recently purchased a scroll saw. I bought some reversed blades and I’m cutting out images on cedar boards, but I can’t keep them straight. There’s a lot a little cuts. I was wondering about using a spiral for that, I’m not really sure what to do or what type of blade to go with Let’s say something like a pumpkin cut out. I tried it with a reverse blade but I can’t get them to come out straight.

Thank you for the tutorial and insight I have bought mine now and enjoy using them - early days. I did notice that when running them through my fingers, out the pack new, that they feel smooth in one direction and rough the other. There are no instructions on the pack that they should be inserted in any particular direction? I guess there is a choice though given how they feel. Which is the correct orientation smooth down or rough down, or doesnt it matter?
